Course Outline

The core day session forms the fist day of training and ensures that delegates grasp the basics of general health and safety good practice.

Introduction to health and safety law and work permits
Workplace safety
Fire precautions and procedures
Accidents and First Aid procedures
Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) & Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Safe manual handling
Noise at Work Regulations and the prevention of noise induced hearing loss
