Asbestos Awareness & Asbestos Management Training
Asbestos Awareness Training - Duration: ½ Day
The Asbestos Awareness Course complies with the Approved Code of Practice (ACoP). “Working with materials containing asbestos” L143 paragraph 124 to 127 and Regulation 10 of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006. It specifically covers training duties under the legislation including:

- Types, uses and likely occurrences in buildings
- Who is at risk?
- Emergency response if asbestos is released
- How to manage asbestos, responsibilities and survey types (overview)
- What works can be done on Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM’s) and risks of disturbing them

Asbestos Management Training - Duration: 1 Day
Regulation of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006 (CAR) places a legal duty on those parties responsible for maintaining and repairing the premises (owners, managing agents, employers, self-employed), to manage the risk from asbestos.
This course provides an introduction to managing asbestos and the requirements of the legislation and covers in particular:
