Course Objectives
The course is designed for managers and employees of contractors working on sites operating the Safety passport scheme. It provides them with the necessary training to obtain the Passport.
Intended For
All persons who are required to enter a site operating the scheme.
Course Content
- Introduction to health and safety law and permits to work
- Safe working practices and scaffolding
- Safe access and egress
- Accident and first aid procedures
- Fire precautions and procedures
- Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) and personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Safe manual handling
- Noise at Work Regulations & the prevention of noise induced hearing loss
- Safe Working - Cranes and heavy equipment
- Safe Working - Excavations
The passport is awarded by CCNSG upon the successful completion of the assessment and is valid for three years.
