2 Day MPQC/SPA Quarry Core and Sector Day
Course Content
The aim of the course is to build on the basic health and safety information Core Day programme by concentrating on risks specifically found in the Mineral Extraction and Products Industry.
It is also to understand the implications of: risk of personal injury, cost to the business, job security, environment not properly considered.
On completion of the course delegates will have the knowledge to;
- Demonstrate their understanding of the subjects by successfully completing each module assessment paper
- Appreciate how they personally can influence good standards within health safety & environment
- Understand the value of risk assessment and have the knowledge to recognize when change to a generic assessment is required
- Understand the common hazards associated with working in this sector
