In anticipation of a return to work, for some sectors at least, we are anticipating and preparing for a higher demand in health and safety training as businesses try to ‘catch up’ following this unprecedented break. Fundamental to those preparations will be the health and the safety of our delegates whilst they train with us, and we wanted to outline some of the rigorous measures that we are now putting in place.
- For all training conducted at our Training Centres in Burn and Bradford, we will be implementing as a start back to training a maximum class size of 10 delegates, which allows for a minimum of 2-metres of personal separation whilst in the training room (in some instances the maximum class size will be smaller).
- Delegates will be required to make use of the hand-sanitizer and or antiseptic wipes, that we will be providing when entering or leaving the training room.
- Whilst at the discretion of delegates and/or their employer, the use of appropriate PPE in the training room will be permitted.
- In order to avoid any possibility of cross-contamination via food preparation, consumption etc, delegates will be asked to bring along their own packed lunch and drinks.
- During breaks in the course, particularly at lunchtime, delegates will be heavily discouraged from congregating in groups inside or outside of the training room.
- Prior to the re-opening of our training centres, all of our facilities will be subjected to a thorough cleaning process.
- Where the delivery of a course is taking place at client premises, we will liaise closely with our clients ahead of the course commencement date to determine the maximum number of delegates for the course (determined by room size, facilities, etc), as well as other welfare measures, and this will again be with delegate safety as the absolute priority.
- Social distancing must be maintained at all times whilst on our course, and our trainer will be extremely diligent to the best of their ability in ensuring that this is adhered to for the protection of each and every delegate.
We are also in a position to now offer a large range of online training and would invite you to look at the courses offered, which can be found on our website.
One of the benefits of online training is the ability for delegates to learn at their own pace either at home or in their office.
