Course Content
This course can be a half day course or a full 1 day course depending on your requirements and number of delegates.
The half day course is for safe use only
The full 1 day course is for safe use AND inspections
The aim of this course is to allow the general workforce to use ladders and stepladders safely in the task of work.
To train nominated individuals in the inspection and maintenance of records.
- HASAWA 1974 – Health and Safety at Work Act of 1974
- PUWER 98 – Provision of Use of Work Equipment Regulations of 1998
- Safe use of equipment
- Selection of suitable ladder/stepladder
- PPE to maintain 3 point contact
- Inspection to ladder/stepladder
- Storage
- Inspections and maintenance of records
