Confined Space Awareness (Theory)
Course Content
The course is designed for personnel who are required to control site entries into confined spaces.
It does NOT give a qualification to enter or work within a confined space.
The aim if the course is to provide personnel with the necessary ability to organise work safely to take place in a confined space.
By participating in this course successful delegates will obtain the skills shown below. The methods used to teach these skills are shown at the bottom of this page.
- Demonstrate a high level of theoretical knowledge in terms of legal requirement of confined spaces
- Appreciate the importance of following safe procedures.
- Display a high level of ability of a confined space entry procedures .
- To show a good understanding of the confined space equipment.
- Be able to understand the principals of maintaining good hygiene standards.
- Recognise a confined space and apply the correct entry procedures.
