A mix of theory and practical training which is designed to enable delegates to manoeuvre, drive and position the MEWPS safely. Courses can be done on Scissor lifts, Boom lifts, and Trailer Mounted or Truck Mounted platforms.

Training for this course can be undertaken on the following categories: 1a, 1b, 3a and 3b. The course is for a duration of 1-3 days depending on the number of categories required. The maximum number of delegates per course is 4.

On completion delegates will receive an IPAF certificate. A Powered Access Licence (PAL) photo ID card giving recognition of identity and categories accredited can be purchased on completion of the course as an additional option. The PAL card is valid for 5 years, after which the delegate will have to be reassessed.
