COVID-19 Health And Safety Training Controls

Trainow takes the safety of everyone attending our health and safety training courses very seriously. Therefore, we have updated our COVID-19 Controls to ensure this.

Please, see below a breakdown of our COVID-19 controls to see how our health and safety training courses will be conducted:

Before entering the training room delegates will have their temperatures taken, if their temperature reads 38C+  it will be taken a second time. If still high, the delegate/s will be asked not to attend the course and leave the premises.

If the temperature is below 38C then they will be asked to sanitise their hands.

Once in the training room, the following health declaration form will be filled out by the delegates:

Did you scan in on your mobile phone using the NHS app?    Yes / No

Has anybody who lives in your house been diagnosed with Covid-19?    Yes / No

Have you or anybody in your household been advised to self-isolate because you have coronavirus symptoms?    Yes / No

Are you or is anyone in your household suffering from any of the following flu, high temperature, new continuous cough or loss or change of sense of smell or taste?    Yes / No

Have you been advised to self-isolate (Quarantine) because you have entered the UK in the last 14days?    Yes / No

Have you been advised to shield because you are at high risk from coronavirus ( clinically extremely vulnerable )?    Yes / No

Register Temperature reading    ——— c

The size/layout of the training room will allow for social distancing of at least 1.5 – 2 metres between all desks, delegates and the tutor.

We will continue to run with limited class sizes.

The training room will have a wall-mounted screen which will avoid delegates clustering around.

The tutor will direct where delegates are to sit.

The training room will be cleaned and sanitised in advance of every course.

The kitchen and its facilities will be shut down during the pandemic and delegates will be requested to bring with them their own drinks.

Social Distancing must be maintained during all breaks, including smoke breaks.

Optional personal facemasks and gloves can be worn, providing both delegates and the tutor can be clearly heard at a safe distance.

No physical contact ( handshakes ) to take place and delegates photographs will be taken by the tutor from a safe distance.

Delegates will be informed where all hand sanitiser stations are to be found.
