Safe Training Methods During COVID-19

This document is to support trainers, delegates, their employers, colleagues & businesses by introducing measures to help promote safe training during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In General (Government Advice)

Any delegate feeling unwell with coronavirus symptoms should remain at home and self-isolate.

Our tutors will check every delegate to ensure they do not have, live with, or have been in close contact with anyone who has COVID-19 symptoms.

Workplaces must avoid crowding, maintain social distancing of at least 1-2 metres to minimise the spread of the virus.

Hands should be washed for 20 seconds, catch coughs and sneezes in tissues, which should be disposed of in a bin.

Trainow Training Centre – Classroom Training

Hand washing facilities and sanitising liquids will be readily available. Delegates are requested to use the sanitising fluids before entering the training room.

The size/layout of the room will allow for social distancing of at least 1-2 metres between all delegates and the tutor.

The training room will have a wall mounted screen which will avoid delegates clustering around.

The tutor will direct where delegates are to sit.

The training room will be cleaned and sanitised regularly.

The kitchen and its facilities will be shut down during the pandemic and delegates will be requested to bring with them – their own food & drinks.

Pens, documents and all equipment must not be shared.

Social distancing must be maintained during all breaks, including smoking.

Optional personal facemasks can be worn, providing both delegates and the tutor can be clearly heard at a safe distance.

No physical contact ( handshakes ) to take place and delegates photographs will be taken by the tutor from a safe distance.
